What is Children of Islam?

Children of Islam is a not for profit organization being run by dedicated mothers from Kuwait and Pakistan. Children of Islam has re-imagined the Weekend Islamic School. Our curriculum and books are creatively designed to attract young learners and to nurture them with essential knowledge and understanding of our beautiful Deen. Our aim is to implant in our children the love of Islam through the Qur’an and Sunnah.

What books are included in your curriculum?

Our curriculum includes the following books:

  1. Aqeedah Activity Book: The Aqeedah book consists of the basic beliefs of a Muslim and the basic description of selected Names and Attributes of Allah (SWT) as mentioned in the Qur’an and Sunnah. The purpose is to understand who Allah (SWT) is, in order to have strong relation with Him based on love, hope and fear.
  2. Salah Activity Book: The Salah activity book teaches the basics as taught by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through various activities, exercises, puzzles and crosswords.
  3. Dua Activity Book: The Dua book consists of the basic duas as taught in Qur’an and by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Learning and understanding these duas will help children to remember and worship Allah and practice the Sunnah throughout their day. The purpose is to learn that it is only Allah SWT who listens to our duas and answers them in the best manner. We turn to Him and we make dua to Him alone.
  4. Aa’dab Activity Book: The Aa’dab activity book teaches ways to adopt the perfect mannerisms of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through various activities, exercises, puzzles and crosswords.
  5. Stories of the Prophets: This book consists of activities and worksheets related to the amazingly inspiring stories of our Prophets (AS), helping the children grasp and retain the messages and morals of each story. The purpose is to help embed and nurture the basic belief of a La ilaha ila Allah Mohammad Rasullah. Believing in Oneness of Allah, in His Lordship, Names and Attributes and in His worship, and believing and obeying Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Do you have different books for different age groups?

Yes. Our books are written for two age groups:

  1. Level 1: Age 5 to 6
  2. Level 2: Age 7+

Stories of Prophets is written for ages 9+.

We are a Weekend Islamic School, how can we teach your books at our school?

To teach our books, we offer teachers’ guides to all Weekend Islamic Schools. Please contact us and we will work together with you in implementing our curriculum.

How can I buy your books?

Anyone can order the books online at our bookstore.

How do I pay for the books I ordered?

In Pakistan, you can pay Cash on Delivery (COD). Internationally, you can pay via PayPal.

How do you deliver the books?

We deliver our books through courier service.

Does Children of Islam generate profit by selling books?

No. Children of Islam is a not for profit organization. All the funds generated by selling books are used to publish new books.

How much do you charge for each book?

We sell books at cost. Children of Islam is a not for profit organization. All the funds generated by selling books are used to publish new books.
